I am Gloucestershire365, a champion for all things local, is pleased to announce that in conjunction with Mark Cooke the New Inn, Gloucester, will host the first GlosBiz Easter Expo.

Sponsored by two great local companies, Renishaw Engineering andAttwoolls Ltd, the GlosBiz Easter Expo will not only be a great family event but is dedicated to give back to the local community through raising monies for charity.

The GlosBiz Easter Expo, which will be staged over two days, will be held on Friday 22^nd & Saturday 23^rd April 10am to 6.30 pm at The New Inn and is open to the public for free.

The first GlosBiz Easter Expo comes to The New Inn on Good Friday and visitors are in for a real treat as businesses travel from all over Gloucestershire to showcase the very best of local products, produce & services. There will be a chance to buy locally produced crafts, jewellery, arts and gifts, as well as an opportunity to sample a “Taste of Gloucestershire”. Food producers from the county will be bringing an array of local produce including chutneys and pickles, meats, cheeses, cakes and honey to tempt you with plenty of samples for you to taste to whet your appetite.

There will also be a ‘services’ zone which looks to promote local businesses that normally wouldn’t get to be at events of this type. The services zone will showcase local businesses spanning health and beauty, wellbeing, lifestyle, home & property, education, recruitment, and much more.

If you need a break from the retail therapy then why not get the kids face painted whilst you relax with a drink from one of the three bars and listen or watch one of the entertainers that are performing throughout the day.  The coffee shop will be open all day serving a mouth-watering array of homemade cakes and cream teas, however if you’re a bit more peckish then there will be a bbq in the courtyard, snacks in the bar or enjoy a main meal listening to jazz in the restaurant.

The GlosBiz Easter Expo is being organised by I am Gloucestershire365and hopes to become an exciting annual event. Its purpose is to showcase the wonderful produce, products and services created on our door step in the hope that local businesses can increase the range of produce & services available locally by developing new trading contacts. It is hoped that the Easter Expo will give not only participating companies but all small businesses a boost as we show that local is better.
